Gustocamp - Marina Di Venezia

Hi!

Has anyone had any experience of this Company?

http://www.gustocamp.co.uk/

They have mobile homes and tents in several Adriatic campsites but wondered if anyone had any personal recomendations/problems with the company?

Thanks in anticipation

Hi

We went to Camping del Garda last year with Gustocamp. They were excellent. The only issue we had was before departure. They are a Dutch company, I believe, and some things got lost in translation along the way in e mails.

The reps on the site could not have been more helpful. The prices seemed very competitive compared with the other companies that went to Del Garda. Also the position of their pitches was, we thought, very good. Also, we had air conditioning which was included and not an additional expense whereas some other companies charged their guests.

We are looking to book with them again.

Hope that helps.

Hi Cezza33!

Thanks for getting back to me, sorry for the delay in responding, just home from Marina Di Venezia. The mobile home was wonderful and the aircon was a godsend as it also transformed into a heater for the cooler mornings and a few days when it was raining. The company themselves were wonderful, I contacted them the day before we travelled to advise that our grand-daughter had started climbing out of her cot so we didn't want one on holiday.

The instruction was followed and everything else we had ordered was in place for our arrival. MDV is a huge site and has everything for a great family holiday.

Hi, glad everything went well. Would you recommend MDV? Where roughly on the site are the Gustocamp pitches?

The size of the site is a bit daunting but the facilities look amazing and I think that our children would love it. We are thinking of going next June/ July.

Hi Cezza!

We loved MDV and would go back in a minute! If you have a look at the MDV interactive map and look at the blue area toward the left hand side the GC homes are on the white strip to the left of the number 22. Great for the beach, theres a small cafe-gelateria (red rectangle) 2 minutes from the front door. Lots of recycling bins close at hand (each caravan has its own triple section bin) You are about 5-7 minutes walk from the main pool, restaurant and entertainment facilities. Punto Sabbioni is about a 30 minute walk from the site or you can park your car for a €6.

Security is very good, the staff are always going round tidying and gardening so everything is beautiful, there was a huge storm when we were there which brought down a lot of pine cones and needles but within a few hours of the end of the storm everything was back to normal.

We faced Sunlodge units which looked very nice too, they have two bedroom, two bathroom units that would alleviate the queue...:(
