Have just come back from staying two nights at a wonderful B & B in Weymouth with only one letting room (hence it cannot be listed under the usual Trip Advisor reviews so Trip Advisor suggested I post the details on the Forum instead).

Pebble Villa is a fantastic bed and breakfast. The room we stayed in was beautiful and tastefully decorated with all the facilities you could possibly require, including ample supplies of tea, coffee, hot chocolate and even Kit Kats! There is also a DVD player and a good stock of DVDs to play (although we did not have time to do this!). The ensuite bathroom is much larger than your average B & B's ensuite and there is a good supply of toiletries and fluffy towels.

The breakfasts were wonderful, with a choice of cereals and fruit to start, followed by either scrambled egg with smoked salmon, bacon sandwiches or the full cooked breakfast. The breakfast is served in a light, airy dining room with panoramic views over the bay and you can see over to Portland.

The hosts, Martin and Karina, are very knowledgeable about the local area and also provide lots of information about places to visit and eat out. Martin and Karina make you feel very welcome and it feels more like you are staying with friends than in a B & B.

This B & B is excellent for those wishing to make the early sailings from Weymouth (as we did, as we were going to Guernsey). It is also ideal for stopping off after returning on the late ferry.
