nice breakfast

Hi I will be staying at the Premier inn, but prefer to have breakfast elsewhere.

Is there any nice places to have a good breakfast?

thanks

1. Re: nice breakfast

Hi,

Here are a few suggestions.

Martello's Coffee House, Sparrows Nest. Head in towards town on A12. Just past a large school on your right (Denes Ormiston Academy) there are several three side roads on your left all meeting the main road at almost the same point. Take the third one, in front of the pedestrian crossing. It is called The Ravine. At the bottom turn right at mini roundabout and look for somewhere to park. Enter park on right.

Lighthouse Cafe. Just along from From Sparrows Nest. Does a "working man's breakfast" Basic with thick white bread - no brown or other choices!

Third Crossing in Oulton Broad. Go through Oulton Broad. After going over bridge with Broad to right take first left (Victoria Road). Just after mini roundabout turn left down School Road. Go past derelict factories and bear left through boatyards. Restaurant is on left overlooking yacht moorings. Doesn't open till 9.30. At weekends you used to have to queue for a table if you were going mid morning.

2. Re: nice breakfast

Hi thanks for your reply, we have just returned from Lowerstoft. We did find the Thatched Cottage.

The information is most useful as we visit serveral times a year.
