I'm taking my 5-year old son to Oslo for New Year. He loves snow and the vikings. Any tips on where to take him. Also, any ideas for New Year's eve with kids? Thanks

Visit Oslo reptile park at storgata 26. Open 10am-6pm every day except mondays. Feeding of reptiles tuesday at 5pm.

Will possibly be closed some days during the holiday, but usually not many.

If there is snow, take him to "korketrekker'n", where you can rent a sleigh for about 50-80 NOK all day and have fun.

Take metro no 1 to Frognerseteren, about 33 min from city center. Beautiful view as well. At the bottom you can take the subway back up again in 13 minutes, so buy yourselves a day travel card(NOK 60,-.). If you go on a Saturday or Sunday, your kid travel for free.
