Hello there. Sorry if this has been asked already but I am on my phone and it is a little hard to navigate the forum. Me send my future husband are thinking about going to tromso in December for 10 days. We will have our 2 year old son with us. I've just got a couple of questions as to whether this might be s good idea if anyone would like to input any advice.
Firstly we are from northern England so are used to a bit of cold but would it be unadvisable to take a toddler yo tromso in the winter? And if not what sort of clothes are recommended? (I worry I'd not bring enough and the poor thing would freeze).
Also is 10 days in tromso too much? We are coming primarily because we like solder climates over warmer ones, and we would like to experience something different. We are thinking of renting a car for a week while we are there to see the area outside tromso a bit (well as much as you the dark) and to hopefully go to the polar zoo.
Sorry about the big wall of text. This is the first holiday I've had to organise myself from scratch so it's all a bit daunting.
