Hi fellow travellers!
i am currently visiting london (from sydney) and am a single female traveller. I have always wanted to see the northern lights, and hear tromso is the best place to go. Do you think it is worth going, by myself, and if so, for how long? would you say to stay in tromso the whole time? (accomodation wise). Also, is it possible to just arrive in tromso, then arrange any northern lights activities? are there plenty of companies there who offer things to do, or would you suggest booking from here in london? i am planning on leaving within the next few days, but am so overwhelmed with all the different northern lights activiities (such as all those listed here:
i am partial to just booking a flight then arranging the rest there...?
any advice would be greatly appreciated. I am on the fence as to whether or not i should go, if it is worth going up there and what my chances are of seeing the lights this time of year. I would also like to try activities such as dog sledding, i assume you can also arrange such things like that once there? There are so so so many tours i cant decide which is best! Thanks for any advice!
thanks in advance
