Is there snow currently in Iceland?

I fly out to the capital Thursday morning for 3 nights with my girlfriend and I wanted to know what the weather is like?

We've booked dog sledding on 1st feb but not sure if we will be a le to do it if there's no snow coverage which would be a huge shame

If anyone who's been there recently can tell me I'd be very grateful

Regards

We went last year, there was no snow at all, the companies used wheeled buggies instead.

I was told that some use glaciers but this maybe just hearsay.

It was fun anyway, and the kids loved meeting the dogs.

All of the north west, north and east is heavily snowed in, people are stuck where they are, highways are closed, avalanche warnings are effective east and west.

Only the south and south - west are light on snow, but roads are still icy and snow covered.http://www.vegagerdin.is/english/road-conditions-and-weather/

To see what roads are like, check the web cams during daytime UT.
