I read about a cliff in, I think, the West fjords that's really dramatic looking - a huge cliff covered with grass (and rocks on the side), that sweeps up to a great height, and the edge is supposed to be a great place to view seabirds from. But I can't remember what it's called or exactly where it is. Can someone tell me? There's a big picture of it in one of the guides (not Lonely Planet), but I can't locate that guide lately.

Thanks.

Are you talking about "Hornbjarg"?

That's it! Funny, I meant to type the East fjords and accidentally typed West - but that was right.

It looks amazing, but I don't think it's going to fit into our schedule.

Does anyone know if there are organized trips to Hornbjarg? Not ling hiking trips, but bus trips perhaps, and if so what town they leave from? I'd like to somehow fit that in between driving from Saudarkrokur back to Reykjavik, but driving all the way there might take too long.

A bus probably couldn't even get there I guess.

You have to take a boat from Ísafjörður. It´s a very isolated place. I really want to do go there myself.

I found this:

It's easier to get to Látrabjarg. images.google.com/images…

There is a road that leads all the way.
