christmas day grocery shops?

will grocery chains, supermarkets, or any other food shops near the central station be open during christmas day? or will I starve to death.

on a normal day, say on Dec 26th, are there any nice little buffets or budget eateries that are good value for money? meal budget up to 150 SEK? on Dorttninggatan for instance?

thank you.

Christmas day (25th) is a very "quiet" day in Sweden but you will not starve to death :-)

Most grocery chains and super markets will be open, hours might be limited though.

On the 26th it's more or less back to normal again.

There are loads of eateries in the city center. Both ordinary meals and buffet style.

You should be able to find a decent meal for 100-150 SEK in the city center (Drottninggatan, Sveavägen and the surrounding area).

Almost every food stores are open from around 11 A.M. to normal closing time for Sundays at the December 25th.
