I know this sounds like a weird question, but,.. I am coming to Denmark in two weeks and want to bring our nieces and nephews some of our Canadian sweets.. was just wondering if you get any of our Cadbury or Neilson chocolate there ?

thank you for any info !

We don't have any of the brands mentioned.

Seems like you have a bunch of lucky nephews and nieces :)

Cadbury is available through some specialtist retailers and ex-pat shops, being a British brand it somewhat known among those who travel to the UK. Some Cadbury products have been sold in Scandinavia under the Marabou brand (both are owned by Mondelez International/Kraft Foods).

Neilsons choccies are more or less unknown in Europe, even though it's Cadbury that makes them as well.

I'd say stick with the Neilsons-ones as they will be the more exotic ones. And do remember to bring some Anthon Berg, Toms (the chocolate turtles are my favourite) and others choccies from some one Copenhagens fab chocolatiers (Simply Chocolate, Frellsen, Peter Beier (got a shop at the airport)).

As a side remark & speaking of the subject of British/American food availability in Copenhagen in general, this shop is probably the most well-known (near Nørreport Station):
