Transfers from Heraklion & Jo-An Palace Hotel |
|
If you arive on the day time you can get the local bus and it stops near the Hotel. Ask the ticket men for the stop at the park. A taxi will cost you 60 euros and here's a driver from rethymno that will pick you up. Petros 6973692004 speaks english. The hotel has a bus, but I think no license to transfer people from the airport. You can always ask of course.

Thanks for your swift reply. My flight lands Heraklion Tuesday 20 June at 18:15, so it'll be around 19:00 by the time I clear baggage and customs. I guess this would be night time but would it be too late for a bus transfer? Just noticed loads of ads on this site for airport transfers, I might check a few out. Really looking forward to visiting your island. You can see my pre-travel blog at: www.jackatsea.com Cheers Jack

Well, two weeks in Crete. The hotel Jo-An was a big disappointment. My room was the size of a dog kennel and overlooked the kitchen rubbish area. The balcony was a few feet from the kitchen's expel air for the fryer. Any time after 4:30 the smell was appalling. I moved out and went to stay with my uncle in Almyrida.
