Hello

Does anyone know if the Jo-An Palace has a hotel bus for transfering passangers from Heraklion Airport?

I'm traveling on my own, so a taxi would almost cost as much as the flight over!!

Failing that, is it fairly easy to get a bus from the airport to Rethymnon.

I booked the room online, but can't seem to get any replies to my emails. The flight was booked through another online site and they just don't respond to emails or telephone messages.

Cheers

If you arive on the day time you can get the local bus and it stops near the Hotel. Ask the ticket men for the stop at the park. A taxi will cost you 60 euros and here's a driver from rethymno that will pick you up.

The hotel has a bus, but I think no license to transfer people from the airport.

You can always ask of course.

Thanks for your swift reply.

My flight lands Heraklion Tuesday 20 June at 18:15, so it'll be around 19:00 by the time I clear baggage and customs. I guess this would be night time but would it be too late for a bus transfer?

Just noticed loads of ads on this site for airport transfers, I might check a few out.

Really looking forward to visiting your island.

Well, two weeks in Crete.

The hotel Jo-An was a big disappointment. My room was the size of a dog kennel and overlooked the kitchen rubbish area. The balcony was a few feet from the kitchen's expel air for the fryer. Any time after 4:30 the smell was appalling.

I moved out and went to stay with my uncle in Almyrida.
