No, nor is there any water supplied in the rooms unfortunately, but you can fill up water from the breakfast bar (near the juices) in the mornings, at the bar (which is probably tap water) or the shop sell bottled water for around 70 cents...

Do you know if there are any cocktail bars along the front or around the hotel? Also any information on days out and water sports? Heard there is a waterpark nearby :-)

Thank you

There really isn't a lot around the hotel, a restaurant beside it and I think there is another bar about 5mins walk away. It is in a quiet area with little amenities nearby. A taxi into Hersonissos is about €8.

We were there at the very end of the season so it was even quieter.

If you prefer somewhere you can walk to bars & shops, the Mitsis Rinella Beach is in Kokkini Hani close to the Airport. Smallish resort but more life about it.

Also Rinela has a Chinese Restaurant which you can book, really lovely food, Serita doesn't.

Water parks are very close by.

What type of trips do you like?

Let me know if I can be of any help in choosing a suitable hotel, I was slightly disappointed with the Serita in comparison to the other Mitsis hotels I have stayed in.

Hi there

The hotel is a bit off the beaten track really. It's in the coastal village of Anissaras which is 3-4 kms west of the large resort of Hersonissos. From the hotel there is a restaurant ( The Blumen Bar) up the lane that passes the front entrance to the hotel, about a 10 min leisurely walk, other wise, you have to walk along the beachfront lane to Anissaras itself, about a 15 minutes flat walk. So, exit the hotel main entrance, turn left, down to the fork, and bear left again.

There are a few bars and restaurants in Anissaras along the beachfront, nothing too much and nothing OTT. Can recommend "The Greek taverna" for excellent, home cooking and "The Captain's Bar", which is almost next door and is staffed by a team of really friendly guys. If you fancy a further 20 minutes flat walk, you can continue along the beachfront to the adjacent village of Analipsi where there are more bars and restaurants, we recommend "Tritonas Taverna" which is opposite the side road that leads to the main entrance of the Sensatori Resort.

if you want a full blown night out, then Hersonissos offers you all you could need. You could walk down to Hersonissos in around 35 mins or a taxi'll cost you €8-10. If you walk to the top of the lane that runs up to the main road from behind The Captian's bar, there are also bus stops on either side of the road.

There are two waterparks in reasonable distance, there's Star Beach which sits at the eastern end of Hersonissos and Acquaplus, which is a few kms south of Anissaras on the road to Kastelli and Lassithi.

Plenty to do and see in the surrounding areas, just depends what you like to see and do and whether you will hire a car, use the buses, or book excursions.
