Thank for you interest, so far. Tripadvisor informs me that over 1000 people have seen my posts on this topic in only 2 weeks. If this continues it will be 10000 by the time I take my holiday.
Here's the update:
I sent email to Heritage AV Liberdade asking them to confirm my exact booking details, as they only confirmed a booking for me "existed"in their email to me. They replied with the correct dates, however, breakfast for 2 on the dates were omitted. I immediately, sent an email to Olotels.com querying my breakfast for 2 booking which I had been charged for weeks ago.
Heritage then sent me an email about 20 mins after their original email, (which stated that breakfast was not included) to say that they made a mistake that breakfast IS included in my booking (is that you I hear you laughing?)
You can obviously see imagine the situation. On arriving in June expecting breakfast, only to be informed that there is no breakfast in the booking and we have no choice but to except it on our arrival. That is why I sought clarification now, usually the complete booking detail is sent anyway including breakfast and dates.
What a lot of uncalled for palaver over a 4 daybooking. It is my first time using Olotels.com as well.
Rather unnerving and unbecoming of the travel industry. I am off to Madrid, Barcelona and Rome next month for a few weeks on hol and I would like peace of mind with this Lisbon booking before I go, hence my communication to Olotels.com and Heritage...
Frankly it is all starting to pee me off. ?(Excuse me french) Maybe they want me to just cancel my booking?
