Help... we've just received an invoice from Tui, Simply Travel asking for the balance of a holiday we booked in Portugal online. It doesn't say how to pay so we decided we'd pay as we did last year and took a trip into town to pay in the Thomson shop. However the guy there couldn't find a reference number for Simply Travel and said 'you'll have to call and pay over the phone' why we didn't say there and then that they took the payment in the shop the previous year, or why can't you call them while we're here in your shop to pay... I don't know. We've now called the 0871 number 4 times and got nowhere, each time we get so far and they say call back or wait to be connected but they cut us off, leaving no opportunity to hang on. These calls cost money and as yet we still haven't paid the balance. There is no information on the invoice about paying by cheque or online so what are we to do........... keep paying to be connected to a call centre in India and have them cut us off or just sit tight until they decide to send another invoice or cancel our holiday! Can anyone suggest another contact or email for us to complain... there is no customer service number available other than the one we're calling overseas and it stinks!
