Inexpensive dining in Brussels

We are going to Brussels for a week and would like to try to say on budget. Any ideas for good, ordinary food?

An idea of where you are staying would have been useful, but in the city centre I have already recommended Arcadi in the Galerie du Roi (Galeries St. Hubert, end furthest away from the Grand' Place), which specialises in sweet and savoury tarts/quiches. For lunch only, on weekdays, I recommend Tarte Julie on Bd. Jacqmain just up from Place de Brouckère - but get there before 12.30 or it will be full of office workers. There is also a chain called Exki where you can get sandwiches, soups and quickes, they have several branches but there is one in rue Neuve opposite Galeria Inno, the department store.

For dinner you can get all-you-can-eat spare ribs at Amadeo in rue Ste. Catherine: take the street to the right of the Macdonalds opposite the Bourse (stock exchange), keep going straight on across the next junction, and it is on your left near the end of that (short) street. Cost should be about 16 EUR a head.
