We will be travelling from Amsterdam to the Rhine valley in Germany at the end of June. We will travel through Germany and then France before going through the Tunnel back to England. We have planned where to go in Germany but we don't want to zoom through Netherland to get there. We have looked at Kinderdijk and think that might be an interesting start to the journey. We could spend a few hours there and then move south . We would like to drive through old towns and historical places before stopping overnight in the Netherlands. Then the next day look at more places before we reach either Cochem or Koblenz to start our main part of the holiday. I'm sure if we like what we see we will be back another year. Could anybody give us advice on this. Perhaps Kinderdijk is not a good idea?please help.
