Take the train to Arth-Goldau. Walk down the road to the roundabout and turn right. Now you cross the village of Goldau with its many shops (including Coop and Migros). It will take you maybe 10 minutes to walk there.
Inside the old part of the park the dears move free among the visitors and can be fed (just food you bought in the park for their health please). You will find animal which still live in our country or witch used to live here. Do not miss the big pond with the numerous water birds and the huge fishes. After the old park you go to the new part which got opened in 2009. There you will find bears and wolfs at the same place. Go around and enjoy the funny young bears. There is also a biotope but actually it is probably too new. After some time it will be very interesting.
The park is in an area which got covered by falling rocks at the end of the 19th century. There is a museum at the exit which you can visit if you like.
This is a very uncommon zoo and it is worth a visit especially with children.
