Davos v Klosters

We are fortunate to be able to ski for three days from 21 March.

We are beginners/intermediate skiers and we wish to ski without guides or ski school (just to enjoy ourselves).

We have the possibility of staying at the SILVRETTA PARKHOTEL in Klosters or the STEIGENBERGER BELVEDERE in Davos.

Bearing in mind the limited time we are in the resorts and the fact that we wish to ski by ourselves and want to be near the best ski lifts, can anyone tell me what the better option would be and why?

Thank you so much to anyone who can help.

1. Re: Davos v Klosters

Davos and Klosters are both on the same hill, so ski wise there really is no difference. Access from Davos is via funicular and chair, access from Klosters is cable car. You can probably ski right back to Klosters, you probably need to do the final bit back to Davos by funicular, as the bottom runs are black.

Each area offers other areas to ski, do you fancy Jackobshorn or Madrissa - look at the ski map. These are used by ski school, so can get crowded on the easier areas.

Have fun.
