Yes. There is a train station in the airport with signs in English.

Everything on the railways is well signed and there is electronic and poster timetable information at the stations. Most railway staff will speak some English if you get puzzled.

Thank you both!

I figured it would be simple, but just wanted to make sure.

I should also have asked this: does Zurich train go to both Gare de Cornavin and Gare des Eaux Vives (or I guess it goes to one then the other?)

thanx again!

No it goes only to Gare de Cornavin, the main station. The Gare des Eaux-Vives is for French local trains. It's across town but easy to get to by tram from Cornavin. If you search the forum the route has been describe many times"

No, there is no rail connection between these two stations. There will be soon, but not yet. The final station of most trains is Geneva Airport, after Cornavin.

Hi auntj,

Just fyi, you can check all the train schedules at the Swiss rail site at

www.rail.ch

Just enter

From -- Zurich airport

To -- Geneva

Date -- use the European format of day.month.year

Time -- use the 24-hour clock

Then you'll get all the information you need, from various departure times, length of trip, track number, and number of changes (if any).

Have fun!

If I don't get to the Geneval train station until around 10 pm, is it hard to find a taxi? Need to get to Ave de miremont 46, 1206 Geneva.

thanx for any help!

As I said before always plenty of taxis at Cornavin station usually stacked back. If not you won't have to wait long as always they are arriving to drop off rail travellers.
