3 free evenings in Bern - please advise what best to do/see

I will be at a course in Bern from Monday 3 Sept until Thursday 6th [on which day I return to Geneva].

The schedule is quite intense until 6pm every day.

It would be nice to maximise leisure time in the evenings so any advise on what to do on Monday/Tues/Wed evening is appreciated.

Are 3 days needs to explore old Bern Town or [for example] is it worth taking a train trip to Thun in the evening? etc?

Thanks

Hi wigwam,

Definitely spend an evening in Thun -- a lovely spot. See if you can get there in time for a dinner cruise on the lake. If not, try to get a short cruise in if it's still light out. Ferry schedules & specials at www.bls.ch.

Good luck!

Hi wigwam

Yes, 3 days are enough to visit Bern.
