Hi

Im hoping to visit Assisi sometime around late November or early December.

I will be flying from Dublin but was wondering where would be the best or nearest point to arrive at.

I suspect Rome would be close enough as would Florence I was thinking of Bologna perhaps ?

I am familliar with the Italian train system and Im sure I would have no difficulty finding my way via any of these entry points.

Any advice on where to stay would be great , I do like the idea of a monastery or the like.

Any must see"s and do"s while there ?

Sort of weather I can expect that time of year ?
