We are considering staying in Lucca for 3 or 4 days in June, on our 2nd trip to Italy. Is there enough to do to occupy us given my children prefer being outdoors rather than in museums/churches etc? We are flying into Rome and spending a few days there and then want to stay at one more location before heading to the Amalfi Coast. We stayed in Florence last time and also Greve, so want somewhere different this time. After a few days in Rome we will be ready for somewhere a bit quieter.
