Depends how far you're prepared to drive: Castiglione della Pescaia is a wonderful seaside spot. You can reach San Gimignano and the Val d'Orcia without a lot of stress but the drives to Florence and Pisa would each be a very full day excursion.

Viareggio and Castiglione della Pescaia are wonderful suggestions. We'd also suggest Cecina but, as Tuscan points out, that, too, would be a bit of haul to get to Florence (Pisa, no).
