Some first hand info on this eatery would be great. Does anyone know the approximate price for dinner per person?

Cheers,

Hi - I used to live in Florence near La Ghiotta, and I used to go there every chance I got. The food is great, and it is in a part of town that is (almost) devoid of tourists. You can get a whole pizza for 4-5 euro, it costs more if you want more toppings, plus 1-2 euro for some vino da tavola (house wine). They also have a lot of other menu choices, but the pizza was my favorite. Also, be sure to brush up on your Italian before you go to the restaurant just to make things easier. It's more than likely that you will be the only non-Italian there!
