Where to rent a villa?

Our family group of six seniors needs advice on a good location to rent a villa in the Chianti region. We'd like to be in a beautiful rural setting, but near a town or village with a grocery store and restaurants. We will have a rental car, but would also like to be near a train station for day trips to Florence, Pisa, Lucca, etc. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Try this one: greve-in-chianti.com/agriturismointuscany.htm Flat property (not all that common in Chianti), near town, bus into Florence, many sights easily accessible by car, and very nice accommodation.

Hello datthecoast,

Thanks for taking the time to recommend this place. It looks lovely, but we're hoping to find a house as opposed to an apartment. We really appreciated hearing from you, but will continue looking. Cheers!

Hello Tuscan

Thanks for the recommendation - it looks wonderful and is in a great location, but we need three bedrooms and it looks like this place - even with both apartments - only has two. Pity - it's perfect otherwise.
