It must have been an awful holiday. I am really sorry.

As far as I know some agencies do change the name of the properties, it happen to me with two villas that I've rented but when I've received the voucher there was the real name of the villa with directions on how to get there and even if they were completely isolated in the countryside we had no trouble finding them.

I read this post with interest and then scrolled down to find the agency mentioned in " best tuscany travel deals " which when checking out had the villa carina listed !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi,i dont recommend this website,it is very unserious .. i wrote today mr. Behnke about this link,that nobody knows what is tuscanny-villas.com for a website and today u can see has somebody posted (mr.Behnke) that its a perfect comapny and that it is very recomandable. Look what is the name of the company and where do they have firm domicile! Brasil. Where is a bank account? Zürich. Where are the houses? Italy. And what is the nationality of Thomas Behnke? German . Do u still think it is serious?

However, I had the exact opposite experience with this agency and would refute the comments made regarding their incorporation and banking capabilities. The Villa we rented was just as it looked online and the directions were perfect - I could not have figured it out on a map. I was connected directly to the owners after paying the deposit and we had a very positive experience. The fact that Mr. Behnke at Tuscany-Villas.com can do his contracts in various currencies was helpful to us, particularly in these times of volatile currency fluctuations with the USD. I had to call him once regarding payment and he was courteous and efficient. I do not think the agency is to avoid, but I do think that it is important to connect with the property owners and get a sense for their style - like anywhere, some landlords are better than others.
