Remember there is a ZTL in the historic center of Turin from 7:30 AM to 10:30 AM monday through friday, some streets are closed to non residents 24/7.
If you're not into museums I'd take a walk in the Valentino Park and visit the fake-but-funny medieval village inside the park.
I'd also visit the Porta Palazzo market in the morning (the area is quite safe, but beware of pickpockets here).
Superga is a church with a nice view on the city. Are you interested in churches? If not you can take the lift inside the Mole Antonelliana, the funny shaped high building that is Turin's landmark. It's easier to reach than Superga and the panoramic view of the city is almost the same. The Mole Antonelliana hosts the italian National Museum of Cinema, too.
