No. You must always change trains at Milano Centrale.

Thanks! How do I get from Malpensa Airport to Milano Centrale, and how long does it take? I like to connect, upon landing direct to Venice.

For train times, see http://www.trenitalia.com/ - click the British flag at the top for English, then enter Malpensa Aeroporto and Venezia S. Lucia.

Buy your ticket at Malpensa Aeroporto train station, as if your flight is delayed and you miss your booked train from Milan to Venice, your ticket could be worthless.

This is helpful! Last question : Is there an Italy railpass for unlimited travel within Italy, similar to the Swiss railpass for travelling within Switzerland ?

No.

There are only the Eurail passes, and these are extremely poor value for most travellers in Italy. Italian trains are quite cheap, particularly if booked some time in advance (booking normally opens 120 days in advance). With a Pass, you must pay an additional €10 for a seat reservation on every fast train, and this is more than some of the advance ticket prices.
