Monterosso-Como San Giovanni by train: in the most favorable cases, in less than four hours, with only one change in Milano Centrale station: go to www.trenitalia.com, then click on UK flag

Como San Giovanni (State railway station) - Bellagio, by bus, one hour ten minutes: see

asfautolinee.it/Portals/…c30.pdf

If you prefer the boat Como-Bellagio, go to

navigazionelaghi.it/file/PDF_orari/E13_Como_…

Keep in mind that:

- The boat trip takes a longer time (from 1h 45min to 2h 10min)

- You need a taxi (or a bus) from Como San Giovanni station to ferry harbor.

For another route, take the train to Varenna - Varenna-Esino station (with a change at Milano Centrale).

Then a short downhill walk to the fairly frequent ferries to Bellagio which take 15 minutes.

We travelled from Vernazza to Bellagio in June by train. We had to change trains at Levanto which took us to Milan and then changed to the Varenna train. All up it was about 4 hours including the changes. In Varenna it is a short walk down hill to the ferry dock where the ferries to Bellagio run about every 20 minutes.
