I'm arriving into Genoa from Asti tomorrow and have a couple of hours to kill before meeting a friend and travelling on to Vernazza. It'll be around siesta time. Is there anything nearish the station (or a bus ride away) that would be worth doing / doable in a couple of hours? I'll have a suitcase but can always leave it at the left luggage. Thanks

I enjoyed wandering around the waterfront. In that time frame, you won't get to visit the fabulous aquarium. There are a couple of funiculars that go up to the top parts of the city and have great views.
