Cinque terre in march

Hi, thinking of coming to cinque terre in the middle of march, purely because flights are cheap. Is this a sensible idea? Not too bothered about it being hot or anything, just want to make sure that restaurants and the national park in general will be open?! I've heard you can go mountain biking in the national park - is this likely to be available?

Thanks!

Everything opens up, more or less, Easter weekend. Coming in March you will miss the crowds, but also risk rainy days and have the majority of restaurants, shops and hotels closed - many open towards the end of the most, or, like I said, Easter. There is something open, but, again, your choices are limited in the villages.

The trails you will have to yourself, as they don't "close" for the season, assuming they are do-able, which is again dependent on the weather. Yes, you can mountain bike in certain places - there is a group with some information here: turbolince.com/itinerari_mountain_bike_gps/l…
