Pisa to Cinque Terre

My sons will be traveling from Pisa to Cinque Terre on the 23rd of March and then from CT to Florence on the 24th. At least that what they're hoping. When we went onto the Trenitalia site to book travel, most of it say "NO" where you would click "BUY". Does anyone know if that means that it is sold out??? Also, they thought if they don't go to CT and stay in Pisa, they would leave Pisa on the 24th and go to Florence. However, every train from Pisa to Florence on the 24th says "NO" under "BUY". If they cannot travel by train, does anyone know what the name of the bus company would be so that they can see if that would work??

Thanks in advance.

PS..I hope this makes sense.

Hello EShaps

NO problem From PISA C. station you buy the ticket to Monterosso (the last stationCT) catch

the train sometime directly or change in La Spezia

and take local train (every hour) It is possible go down in the first station CT (riomaggiore) go up

visit the other towns with the same ticket (one direction untill Monterosso)

Come back to Floerence buy the ticket on the station

I had no trouble getting the shopping cart when looking up tickets from Pisa to Vernazza (just a random town in the CT) for 23/3. What cities and dates are you plugging into the search box?

The train from Pisa to Florence is a regional train and you can't buy those tickets on-line, that's why you get the NO.

At any rate, it will be easy to get tickets on the ground when there. The trains will not be sold out although that is Easter weekend and they may be crowded.
