Rimini in september.......

My girlfriend and i will be heading to rimini in september, and we are wondering what there will be to see and do?

We aren't niteclub people really, but do enjoy going out, drinking, and enjoying what there is entertainment wise, so although we will be out every night enjoying our holiday, we don't really want to end up in nightclub's just for the sake of it!!,so any views of anywhere good to go out would be much appreciated......

We will also be wanting to go out exploring in the days, not just the obvious tourist places, but hopefully some really cool strange or weird stuff too....

And an idea of how long it take's to get to major place's from Rimini would be great too!!Like Venice, San Marino, Rome, etc....

So if you can help with any of this, please get in touch, it would be great to have an idea before we get out there and waste our week wandering round like headless chickens looking for something cool to do!!

Hi... the beaches in Rimin are amongst the best in Italy in my opinion... The beaches are private which means that yes you do have to pay during the normal season... out of season then they are free.

The cost for using the beach, which includes use of sunbeds, table and umbrella, depends on the season... from, if I remember correctly, from 35euro to 65euro per day...

Hope this helps

Cheers

The beaches all along the adriatic coast are divided into sections and rented to privates who have to follow strict regulations regarding the services they provide.

Each beach section has a number and the bagnino or beach attendant will look after his own section of beach,.

The costs above are a bit high and more in the region of 10 euros per day for a sun bed.

You can do a special package where you have say 2 sunbeds and 1 umbrella.

The cost also includes the use of the showers, toilets and all the other services the beach area provides.

You are not alowed to put your towel dfown on the sand and sunbathe on the areas where they have sunbeds.

However, by law you can lie at the aters edge as this is public domain.

There are also public sections of beach where you can put your towel down but they do not have any of the above mentioned services or a life guard on duty.

Most hotels will have a section of beach they will sugest you use.

This is not law however and you are free to select the beach area you like best even if not the one linked to your hotel.

Many hotels will have special packages for the beach too so worth asking your hotel what they are.
