LOL. I can tell you were a tad upset at missing my trip report..... TA really should have a separate place to go for these things and I know you suggested it. Hope they follow through and do it.

What a fantastic idea, to put them all in one place!
My report, Chasing Bernin in Rome, is from our trip this past Easter. We went to the Scavi, the Galleria Borghese and other churches with Bernini status mentioned in the Dan Brown book, Angels & Demons (I was there for a story). We also took a tour of the Colosseum and Forum, visited other churches and the Capuchian crypt and ate v. well (although not fancy).

My husband and I took our five adult children (aged 23-28) to Rome in January 2009. We arrived on New Year's Day and stayed until Jan 9th. Though some prefer not to be there during winter, we loved it and would not hesitate to go again that time of year.
