This morning we were watching Tg2 news who were reporting on the rising cost of petrol/gas in Italy. In July, they reported the average cost is 1.558 Euros/Liter. Assuming the exchange rate at 1 Euro = ~US$1.60, with 1 gallon = ~3.8 Liters, the cost per gallon is ~$9.50. (makes me embarrassed to complain about paying $4.00 per gallon)
For those who live in Italy or have travelled there recently, is that per Liter price about accurate for your area?
