Benidorm First Timers

OK, me and the gf have booked 11 nights in the flamingo Oasis hotel from July 1st.

We love going out and doing things, we have seen the standard aqualandia and the theme park and dolphin show place. what other attractions are about that we should look to do, can you post any links and costs.

also, is it better to buy tickets before hand or once we are there, through the thomson reps or direct or a third party.

we will be hiring a car for a few days so anything we should be doing further a field? whats good to go see?

thanks for all your help

Welcome to the forum Demarcation, you've chosen a great hotel in the Flamingo Oasis. Here's an idea of some excursions. In my experience the trips sold by reps in the hotel tend to be more expensive;

On a first visit you may find you don't need a car.

There is plenty to do in the resort and within walking distance.

Buses can be used to go slightly further afield.

Sort all your bookings when you are there.

There are many pubs and clubs of all types, just wander in and out as you feel.

Sure you will enjoy.

Yeh agree with rochdalemally, don't drive myself, but have heard that parking in beni can be a bit of a nightmare and the buses to nearby resorts etc are very good prices.Cheers SteveH

Have a walk to the Gran Hotel Bali, that will take a while.

Walk up to the cross, you will see it at night.

Bus across from your Hotel to Altea, walk back to Albir then bus back to Hotel.

Bus to El Cisne flea market on Sunday and walk back.

There are many good acts in the clubs, you don't have to drink much.

Some have the same glass all night!
