Will the regente ever recover its reputation, cos its been the hotel which has been dogged by this superbug, where everyone has been falling ill all summer who have stayed there,

It was even in total darkness this last week in Oct, and begin of Nov. cos i went to av a look. Apparently they closed it to do a major clean.

Agreat hotel for kids is the sol pelicanos.

I would also recommend The Rio Park. Like dazEdinburgh says Its one of the best run hotels in Benidorm for Families. Its centralised for all the best bars and its located near the top of the Yellow Brick Rd. Great hotel.

Stayed at Terralta in October this year, they are absoulutely brilliant apartments. Fantastic sunbathing terrace and large pool which is brilliant for the kids. The apartments are spacious, clean and the staff are very efficient and friendly. On site supermarket has very limited stock, but there is a better one at the bottom of the hill

The apartments are slightly out of the way but there is a bus that runs from outside the apartments into new town near triangle for 1 euro. They are up a slight hill on the way back, not too steep just long! but wouldn't like to try it in July/August too hot!!

All in all couldn't recommend them highly enough - enjoy yourselves
