Leaving things behind in Taxis

Just wondering if anyone has any advice. a week last Sunday 16th June we got a taxi from cruise terminal into Barcelona,Placa Catalunya, we discovered we had left our camcorder behind in taxi, tried to call out to taxi but the place was so busy he did,nt hear us, we went into a tourist office nearby and they gave us a phone number for lost and found, after several phone calls the camcorder still hasn't turned up, has anyone had any experience of something like this, any advice of anything we could do as we have just arrived home today

i geuss they gave you this pone number: +34 902 101 564

you can send an email here too: objper-taxi@amb.cat

if you have not your cam back then it could be for 2 reasons. next one using that taxi found it and kept or taxi driver got your cam.

good luck.

When entering a taxi it is always a good idea to write down the id number of the taxi driver, which is plainly seen from the back seats. Then in case you forget something, it will be easy to locate him.

I will do that in the future, would love to know is there anyone else we could ring or e-mail apart from the ones suggested on earlier post. Thanks
