What to do

As a frequent visitor to Barcelona, well we came for the first time 7 years ago, and have now made it our annual 2 week holiday destination every year since, we have done all the "to do" attractions more than once, we now come to the city to relax, walk, spend time in cafes and restaurants, a typical holiday, but checking the weather for the next two weeks we may have to put up with rain, are there any train journeys and or tours that would occupy us during this small inconvenience

The coastal train journey to Blanes is scenic, as is the train to Ribes de Fresor and visiting valldenuria.com/website_valldenuria/cat/inde…

Tarragona and Girona are interesting places to visit by train www.renfe.com/EN/viajeros/index.html

A fave is taking the cable car up Montserrat barcelona-tourist-guide.com/en/tour/barcelon…

2. Re: What to do

forecast says some possible storm today and tomorrow and clouds and sun till 25th, later, forecasts are not really accurate.

if it rains in barcelona it means that the weather on catalan coast is similar, so you should go inland. hsould check forecasts for Zaragoza, Madrid, or smaller towns in zones like Teruel province, etc

Additionally both Reus and Valls are having festivals over the next 10 days or so. Forecasts for them are not too bad at the moment (we're risking it and not taking the waterproofs we had with us earlier in the month). Might be fun if you can get transport sorted out.
