I would like to know how to get to Museu Marítim de Barcelona. I will be staying at Barceloneta. I don't think the Turistic bus gets there right?
When I went last October, only a small part was open because they were renovating the museum. I do not know if it is completely open now.
Right now there seems to be a special exhibition of the Titanic:
Its still closed, I believe it will take quite a long time to finish the renovations, maybe a couple of years. They have found some Roman remains below the museum's building, that will of course delay the re-aperture, in any case they are doing major renovations. It should be very nice and even more interesting when finished, but we will have to wait! This article is in Catalan but you can see some nice pictures of the renovation process and the archaeological findings:
In any case, if you want to see the Titanic exhibition, or just have a look at the area... from Barceloneta I'd just walk. Its a nice 20 minutes walk. Or, you can use buses 57, 64 or 157. But going by bus will take about the same time than walking.
Thanks for all ur help. Yep, I wanna visit the Titanic museum. I didn't know its near Barceloneta. Prob shall just walk over. Thanks again!
The small part Benny visited is still open so you can see a small exhibtion with some of their highlight pieces. Free entry to that on Sundays from 3pm if you want a quick look.
The Titanic exhibition is in a different part of the building.
on that buses list belsaita wrote you can add #59 from barceloneta to colon statue.
