Barcelona 3 nights

Thinking about staying for 3 nights, last of May or the 1st of June. Is this a good walking town to see sites and where is a good place to stay?

Hi

We stayed for 4 nights , the week before last , and walked for miles around Barcelona.

We stayed in the L'Eixample area just to the east of Passage De Gracia . This area is very safe , & is laid out in a grid pattern that makes it easy to not get lost.

We walked to the port & beach area & back ( via other points ) twice in the 4 days we where there.

See my report on the Europark Hotel for the full details.

The Eixample is a good place to stay and very safe. I stay there all the time when I visit Barcelona.

Hola lbark!

3 nights is a short visit, especially for a first-timer. I would stay in Placa Catalunya. It's super convenient for arrival by Aerobus from the airport, sightseeing, shopping and dining. Barcelona is a compact city and great to walk but you'll still need to use the metro, bus or taxi a little bit.
