I am responsible for finding a hotel for my whole family for one night pre-cruise and one night post-cruise in Barcelona. There are 17 of us. I have read the reviews for this hotel and they have been very encouraging so I am having our TA check out availability.

My question is concerning safety. I just wanted to know if this is

in a safe area as some people have mentioned certain places that they have not felt very safe in. I would expect that the kids in their 20's will be going out later and I want to make sure this area is safe for them at night.

There is not need to be concerned about the area or Barcelona in general. Just be aware of what's around you, as you should wherever it is you travel. Besides, 17 sounds more like a small army.
