Hotel Antibes or Silken Concordia? |
|
Hello! We will be staying in Barcelona for 2 nights as part of a week long holiday to Spain in November-getting very very excited! :) Based on our budget, we've narrowed it down to 2 choices: Silken Concordia (Avinguda del Paral.lel, 115 )and Hotel Antibes (Diputació, 394).They've both been rated highly on tripadvisor and venere. Price difference is about 10 Eur (75 vs 85 for Silken Concordia) Couple of queries that I'd like to check with anyone in the know: - Budget wise, Antibes is the better choice. But am concerned as it seems more out of the way,..(and will that just mean all the money saved on the hotel room will be spent on transport? :p) Any thoughts on either of our 2 choices would be highly welcome. Thanks in advance! :) |

Normally the difference in price of the hotel vs. the need to take public transit would only be felt if you were staying in Barcelona for a week or more. Your two nights means only one full day to explore so you can explore those things that are close to whatever hotel you stay at. If you want to see the Park Guell or Montjuic, for example, you'd have to take the metro from either of these. For 20.00 euros difference, (10.00e / night) I would stay at the Silken Concordia and try to see as much as you can within walking distance of it, and there is alot more than you'll have time for. hth Pjk | ||||||
