I will be going to Spain with my 13 year old son in July. Does anyone know, or how to find, public transport from Toledo to El Escorial? |

From Toledo you have to take the train to Atocha station in Madrid. Then you can take the Cercanias train to the town of El Escorial (trains run every hour). From the train station you take the bus up the hill to the town and the monastery. Read my El Escorial trip report in the Madrid forum. | ||||||
