I am also going to lanzarote in january so hope the weather is as good as it was last january as it was warm all day but a little chilly at night advise to take a cardigan.

we are in lanzorate since sunday the 16 and the weather is crap, had to go shopping for winter clothes so be prepared , never got into our bikinis once or got to lie be the pool, i was checking out the weather on the net and its to pick up again on sunday hope you enjoy your stay.

Andy2005 - Why dont you take the kids to Timanfaya national park. Good for an overcast day. You can have a ride on a camel and also see the volcano. They do some mad stunts like pouring water down a hole in the ground which then wooshes up because of the heat. If you eat in the restaurant your meat will have been cooked on a giant barbeque just using the heat of the volcano! You and your kids might find it fun!
