Could anyone recommend whether it's possible to have a quiet holiday in Ibiza in August? We're just lookin for a beach and pool holiday, but am a little worried about being kept awake all night by the super clubs. Am I foolish for going to Ibiza if that's my concern? If not, where would you recommend staying?

Thank you.

Basically avoid San Antonio and Ibiza Town.

Choose any of the other resorts and you will be fine.

es cana everytime for me londongirl, small beach,on your doorstep wherever you stay in es cana.enough bars to keep you entertained, plenty of eating places, live entertainment on in a few bars and hotels, also its only a short taxi ride from santa eulalia, with some superb restaurants, and a wonderful marina, sat with a cold drink watching how the other half live, you cant beat it.

Try www.ibizaspotlight.com it has loads of info on there about all places in ibiza, you can also book hotels or apartments through them,we did last year and found them very reasonably priced.

hope you find what your looking for, ibiza is a stunning island, you wont regret it.

happy holidays.

tigerman.

Hi there I worked in Ibiza for 2 years and at first I was horrified to find out I was going to work with children in IBIZA I just didn't understand. Once i was there I fell in love with the island, its for everyone. The quieter places would be Portinax, Es cana that side n the East coast of the island. No matter when you go to Ibiza there is a place to suit everyone. Me and my family are going back now for the 6th time Happy holls

there are plenty of quiet areas in around San Antonio, especially the Bay Area and the north coast of the town. The only big clubs in San An are Es Paridis and Eden and they are right next door to each other.

You do get a lot of clubbers going to San An so most of the hotels will be full of people partying and having a good time so stay clear of the apartments and hotels that book a young and livley crown, and pick the family hotels or some of the quieter couples accomadation in san an or other areas on the island.

I too would recommend Es Cana, a lovely resort, 2 great beaches, I prefer cala Nova beach to the main beach, it's about a 5 minute walk from the miami hotel through the trees past the Cala Nova hotel. Lots of great places to eat, restaurants and take-aways and plenty entertainment in the big hotels if that's your thing. Also a reliable bus service to Santa Eulalia which has a bus terminus for services to other resorts if you want to explore.
