Day tour to Ronda

We are looking for a day tour to Ronda from Sevilla. We contacted a tour company we found online called Julia Travels and never heard back from them. Does anyone know if they're still in business? Has anyone ever toured with them? Doesn't sound very reliable. That being said, any suggestions for day tours to Ronda from Sevilla? There are four of us, could this be something we can do on our own? Not familiar with the area.

Thank you for your help.

we took the bus from Seville to Ronda -- we then went on to Granada from there, but no reason you couldn't do it as a day trip from Seville.

you really don't need a tour

you can see our two night sojourn here (the second post)

Very easy but quite long journey by bus. Nearly 2 hours each way. Take a LOS AMARILLOS bus from Prado de San Sebastian bus station which is near Barrio Santa Cruz. Look up times on :

samar.es/horarios/…996

for example if you take the 10am bus out of Seville yo reach by midday direct. Then maybe return on the 6pm one and you should be back before 8pm. You could buy your tickets when you have the time in Seville maybe walking between Barrio Santa Cruz and the Plaza de Espana?

I assume from your posts that we dont have the option of taking a train to Ronda? 2 hrs by bus is a lot, but if that's the only option. We plan to spend a couple of days in Granada, but since we have 3 days for Sevilla, we thought about a day tour to Ronda.

You can take a train to Ronda but need to change at either Cordoba or Antequera and timings are much worse than by bus.

You can go to Ronda from Seville by bus then continue to Granada by train in one day.

Thank you for the link. This really helps. We were planning on reaching Sevilla on Thursday and departing on Sunday to Granada, but I think if we leave Sevilla Saturday, we can spend the day in Ronda and take the train from there to Granada? Is the train a straight shot to Granada or does it go somewhere else first?

So there is no buses that go to a day out to Ronda from Plaza De Armas Station and only one can get this from Prado de San Sebastian bus station please.
