sevilla5 vacation rental Triana -- feedback? advice?

we've booked 6 nights in may with sevilla5 (or veoapartment) in a 2 bedroom apartment located Triana district, calle Rocio/Pelay Correa.

Can anyone share their specific experience renting from sevilla5/veoapartment? The website describes everything the units come with and how you get the keys, etc -- how accurate is this?

Also we paid a deposit online but we have to bring cash to pay most of the rental fee. Same arrangement for a flat we booked in Madrid for the week before going to Sevilla. Is this typical? it doesnt sound safe at all but we had no choice.

Anyone know this area, or this apartment? I've seen google street view for the area, #13 Pelay Correa, entrance on Calle Rocio. Also several youtube videos. Looks good! Anything we should be aware of besides the general attractions of the area?

I'd really like to hear from anyone with personal experience with sevilla5, or anyone personally famiiar with this area of Triana or this particular apartment. thanks very much.

psage728 ... I have no experience of Sevilla5 but live just a couple of streets away from Pelay Correa.

This part of Triana really is a good place to be, very authentic, very local. You will be handy for Triana Market which is in nearby Plaza del Altozano. Pedestrianised c/ San Jacinto is pleasant and the excellent c/ Betis runs right alongside the river. A great loclas bar is Bar Santa Ana which you will find on c/ Pureza next to the church of the same name.
