Puerto Banus- are we too young? and too poor?!

I'm currently in the process of booking an 'end of A levels' holiday with 9 other girl-friends to Puerto Banus. We have all heard great things about the place, and were relieved to hear its not full of 'pilled off their face yobs'. BUT the problem is, we're still looking for some fun and a good time...and we're worried that we wont be able to fit in to somewhere so classy and expensive?! Is 18 too young to be out their on a girly holiday...or are we likely to find other groups of young people!? any advice would be great...thanks =)

You will have time of your life there. Try PYR Apartments about 5 mins walk or less from Bar Street area where there are loads of clubs/bars. Some clubs might ask for I.D. if you look underage. There are loads of cheap pizza type places and cheaper restaurants if you don't eat on the front row of the port.

A wonderful place to people gaze around the front of the port. You will find loads of groups of young people after A levels - it is the place to be.

You will need a reasonable amount of money or hope like my 18 year old daughter has for the last 2 years we have been to Puerto and she has gone off clubbing leaving her poor mum alone in hotel that you meet wealthy boys who will pay for all your drinks. She has never had to pay for drinks.

Last a word of warning - watch your purse, mobile etc. and make sure that you go up and get your drinks from the bar with somebody as there are lots of drugs around.
