Marbella Christmas / New Year

Can anyone recommend somewhere to go for a meal that might be quite lively on Christmas Eve? We're a family of four and although we want lively we want a meal and not just a pub.

Also can anyone tell me where the fireworks are set off from on NYE.....we saw some from a distance 2 years ago but no one could tell us where they were coming from!

Thanks :)

Restaurante La Barca

Paseo Maritimo, 15

Tel. 952-824-459

This moderately priced restaurant is located on the Paseo Maritimo and is quite elegant. Most of the dishes are fish, but there are meat dishes on the menu also. The paella is very good and the service is also very good. The owner is very attentive to the smallest detail. This is one of the best restaurants in the Paseo Maritimo.

Give them a call and ask if they will be open on Christmas Eve. Many restaurants will be closed that night.

Another thing you can do is go to the paseo maritimo the day before and since there are many restaurants there, you can ask them if they will be open on that night.
